Work Experience
Product & program manager with experience spanning AI product development, business strategy, and large-scale data analysis. At SoftBank, I’ve led agentic AI product development, guided M&A and go-to-market strategies, and translated technical complexity into business impact. Previously at LINE, I managed service planning, API development, and TB-scale user data analysis. I bring a blend of technical fluency and strategic execution to deliver products that scale and create business value.
Technical Program Manager & Product Manager
Responsibilities
- Led planning and PoC delivery of enterprise AI agent products and related backend systems for Japanese enterprise customers.
- Owning end-to-end PoC cycles from problem framing, requirements definition, architecture design support, and technical validation through Go/No-Go recommendations.
- Evaluated new LLM, agentic workflow, RAG, and vector database technologies hands-on and translated findings into concrete adoption strategies for internal and external stakeholders.
- Structured complex technical and business constraints into concise one-page materials to support quick decision-making by executives and partner companies.
- Defined hiring profiles, evaluation criteria, and interview processes for Forward Deployed Engineers and other technical roles, and participated in interviews as a technical assessor.
- Supported technical success initiatives for early customers, including usage design, guardrail planning, and quality monitoring of AI workflows after rollout.
Business Strategist
Responsibilities
- Designed non-organic growth strategies, including minority investments, M&A, and strategic partnerships with overseas technology companies.
- Worked with executives, finance teams, and external partners such as IBs, VCs, and target company management to build investment theses and business synergy hypotheses.
- Planned go-to-market strategies for overseas portfolio companies entering Japan and APAC, including target segments, ICP, value propositions, and partnering models.
- Conducted cross-industry research on market, technology, macroeconomic, and geopolitical trends and regularly briefed executives with concise, actionable insights.
Product Manager
Responsibilities
- Continued as Product Manager for LINE News after the merger of LINE Corporation and Yahoo Japan Corporation.
- Maintained and improved service KPIs during organizational changes by keeping product roadmaps, experiments, and backend projects on track across multiple teams.
- Coordinated cross-functional stakeholders in editorial, business, and engineering to ensure a smooth transition of ongoing initiatives.
Product Manager
Responsibilities
- Product planning and project execution for LINE News across UX design, user research, backend development, machine learning features, and data analysis.
- Directed development of internal API services by clarifying interface and quality requirements and collaborating with engineers to continuously improve reliability and performance.
- Designed and evaluated large-scale A/B tests using TB-scale behavioral data to identify UX improvement opportunities and measure impact on key product metrics.
- Collaborated with editorial, business, and engineering teams on initiatives such as local information features and cross-company campaigns.
- Leveraged internal data warehouses and data lakes for exploratory analysis to generate hypotheses and iterate quickly on product ideas.
